shooting incidents recently took place in Delhi
Apparently
buoyed up by the hate speeches of Central minister Anurag Thakur and a BJP parliamentarian
Parvesh Sharma directed at Shaheen Bagh protestors in the Jamia Nagar area, the
Hindutva agent provocateurs indulged in a series of shooting incidents. In as
much as 4 days at least 3 shooting incidents took place in quick succession.
The shooters said that they will teach Shaheen Bagh protestors a lesson and
prevent Kashmir-like situation in Delhi
Middle-class
and marginalized section of the vast Indian populace are in open rebellion
protesting against the discriminatory Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) passed by
the Parliament on December 17 last year seeking to offer naturalized
citizenship rights to non-Muslims from Pakistan, Bangladesh and Afghanistan,
while excluding Muslims on religious grounds.

Muslims refuse to be provoked
Delhi
Muslims at the Shaheen Bagh protest site say that this is nothing but a devious
gameplan by the ruling BJP at the Center to win Delhi elections by polarizing
the society by dividing Hindus and Muslims. Despite multiple shooting
incidents, Delhi Muslims have said that they are not going to be provoked by
such mischief and fall into BJP trap. In fact, one of the protestors told
Indian Muslim Observer that BJP’s gameplan will be foiled and Aam Admi Party
(AAP) will once again be voted to power.
A political
analyst said that BJP wants Muslim votes to be divided between Congress Party
and AAP. But, Congress Party is currently weak and nowhere in the race. Even
the voters of Congress Party are highly likely to switch sides at the last
minute and vote in favour of Kejriwal’s AAP, which has done remarkably well for
the welfare of the people of Delhi
